Hot Start Relay Kit for 964

I am having some starter issues, car starts fine when cold but sometimes the starter fails to catch after car is driven, acts like a bad solenoid and I will be cleaning all the grounds, battery connects etc, just need a "patch" until I can remove the starter & solenoid..

A hot start relay kit was recommended , bought it from our host, but wiring is different that the instructions show so I will have to change some connectors (spade lug to an O connector ....no biggie )

Is the hot start relay appropriate for a 964 series or will I induce electrical armageddon..

I had the same problem with mine, a new starter motor fixed it.
