Changing FVD Brombacher exhaust back to stock?

I am interested in buying a 93 C2 that has a FVD Brombacher dual exhaust. Owner says there are no heat exchangers so I guess this means no working heater? What would it take to get the exhaust back to stock so I would have use of the heater? Anyone know how hard it would be to find a used exhaust to put on and what it might cost? Thanks for the help..

No, the heat won't work at all w/ the current exhaust.

There was a stock exhaust on eBay the other day. The auction seems to had ended.

There's also the option of going with a different aftermarket header/exhaust setup that does have heat exchanger functionality.

You can click on the link from Vandit, then ask the seller if he still has the exhaust. This is a very nice looking exhaust and appears to be compete. For the asking price, it is not bad as you would probably spend more piecing an exhaust system together.

I know the seller through another non-Porsche forum and was well aware of the situation, hence my response was on point as I had sent the seller the same link a couple weeks earlier after we chatted about possibly swapping my stock exhaust for his FVD.

He's the guy that got me motivated and built up my confidence to get my '91 GPW C2 (basically a clone of his '93).

It makes me sad that he's decided to sell and the car is now gone. Oh well, mine is going no where for any reason other than reasons I cannot control.
