Throttle response

Looking for help re this question. My 964 seems to have a lazy throttle response. the car is driving perfect and throttle seems Ok but when I blip throttle on pedal or engine it seems very lazy and even seems to miss/not respond if blipped quickly.
Anyone suffer from this or any ideas of remedy?
My last 964 was instant and i am a little worried that its not working properly at low revs.
Apologies for poor explanation but hope this makes sense?

OK so took the lead out of primary, started engine and ran Ok so think we can presume belt is OK.
Still stumped?

Tiptronic or manual?
Does this happen when cold, hot or at all temperatures?

Other possible issues could be - in no particular order:

- Fuel pressure regulator
- Fuel injectors
- MAF door not moving freely
- Vacuum leaks
- Cylinder head temp sensor

Hope this helps.
