H&R Street Performance Coilovers...any feedback???
I am looking at buying a 993 C4S that needs front shocks. Looking at the prices, it may make most sense to go with euro height at the same time. So I am looking at Bilstein HD and H&R springs which would be around $1800 by my calculation. I ran across H&R street Performance coilovers with steel rear shocks and they run the same amount. Has anyone run these and can give me feedback on the ride quality? Is there anyone selling the HD and H&R cheaper?

I have this set-up Bilstein & H&R Springs from H&R- don't know off-hand about the rear shock model though. I am running these with TRG monoball mounts in the front and stock mounts in the back with A RUF strut brace at ROW height. It is a fairly stiff ride but nicely planted. Probably a little too stiff for my wife, but she has to make some compromises on her side as well, doesn't she? lol.
Are you planning any serious track time or is this more of a canyon carver? |
