1996 993 climate control unit

My climate control unit seems to be making a noise almost like a buzzing noise when the car is running and for some time once the car is off. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and if so how to correct the problem? Is this a common problem with the 993's? Thanks

Good luck with changing the CCU fan. Feel free to ask any questions, my email address is mentioned on my DIY page linked above.
Cheers,
Tore

Take out the CCU and on the back is a small fan. Take the fan off, and lube the fan shaft - noise will go away.
