Blowing fuse r.r.taillight 964

After having installed a new set of taillights on
my 89 964 C4, all blinkers except the right rear are functional.
This particular one is creating a puzzle, because with the
old set there were no issues. The 7.5 a fuse is blown!
Any speculation on what might cause this, all wiring is like new.

make sure the bulbs are secure in their base, may have twisted the glass part when installing it which would cause a short

r.r.bkinker dilema

I had new bulbs with new tailight set, bur replaced them anyway. Today I
checked with test light, to determine if power was there- was not! Again
it's difficult to understand, as old set was functional, more gray hair!
