Differences: 930 & G50 starter ring gear

I am having starter\ring gear issues with a custom application G50-52 to a V8. The G50 has a shorten bellhousing with a Tilton 7.25" CC clutch and a custom Tilton Flywheel which brings the ring gear closer to the gear box, not the motor. The starter needs to be a self-supporting 'snub nose' like the Hi Torque 101N or Bosch. Not sure why but the inside diameter of the bellhousing has been machined to a slightly larger diameter.

I'm trying to match the correct starter ring gear and starter motor. Of course there is the option of a KEP setup but it won't adapt to a Tilton clutch. I'm trying to salvage my existing flywheel and Tilton clutch.

Questions are:
1) Starter ring gear: difference between 930 vs G50-52 (tooth count & O.D. dim.)
2) Starter pinion gear: tooth count for a 930 vs G50-52

My initial thoughts are simply get a G50-52 starter ring gear and machine it to my existing flywheel and use a standard G50-52 starter. Seems simple, no? The reason I'm asking comparison with a 930 is I'm under the impression the two are interchangable but I'm not sure.

TIA,
Tim
