Timing chain play question

I removed my valve covers today to replace my gaskets . The car has 70k and I have never noticed timing chain noise.
The first picture shows the right bank with a tight chain top and bottom.
The second shows a top chain tight but the bottom is noticibly loose. Is this a problem or the state it rests in when not under pressure?
What holds tension on the lower chain rail?
If it is a failing tensioner is it easy to replace the tensioners without disturbing the timing? thanks Doughttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1331613719.jpg

I`m sure, that crank was turned clockwise as normal direction is. Chain gear by intermediate shaft pulls chain from left side from upper and from right side from lower side. And if you have no oil pressure in tensioners, they are loose, because spring inside tensioners are so small.
You wrote that you newer noticed timing chain noise. So, everything is OK, don`t worry.
