964 C4 lowering

I saw some post somewhere that there may be issues in case C4 is lowered below RS spec. This suppose to be due to roll bars and drop links will bang to drive shafts or something?
Has anyone encountered this trouble and what is good solution to lower C4 (shall I go for Bilstein PSS10 & new roll bars, or just H&R springs)? I have a plan to redo suspension and to lower car a bit. Any suggestions on hardware welcome, aim is not to make track car but to have still street driveability with comfort.

Aim is to have something like this car:

Hi Harri,
here's a pic of my c4 before i had a geo set up which resulted in raising the car up another 20mm to about 5mm lower than rs height. It drives great even though it's lower than rs height. I have standard drop links but thicker rear ARB and kw3 suspension.
Hope that helps
Raoul

Thanks Raol for pics!

I was thinking to go for Bilstein PSS10 or their non adjustable HD shocks (spring height can be altered). PSS10 possible very close to KW V3 but was thinking if I would ever alter shocks much as this is mainly road car and would those adjustment work after xx years in road use (I have KW V3 in Clio Williams, that is just track car).

I was also thinking to have thicker ARB, H&R do have combo with 26mm rear and 24mm front dia (2 position adjustable ends), dia is at least quite much different than stock, would they be too stiff? Raoul, what is your ARB specs?

Mine is about 22mm i think. I only changed it because the original had rusted badly. My front is standard.
