.I am trying to find the blinker relay on a '89 964, it sound's like
r.side under dash? |

On the Right side of the console by the foot well. You will see two screws in the carpet about 10 in up from the floor.

as previously mentioned passenger side center console has access panel with 2 screws remove them and you will see the flasher relay on top of the accelerometers.
