Hot Air in Cabin-'90 C4 Cabriolet
Haven't posted here in a while...Still experiencing the same problem...
After car warms up, hot air enters the cabin at the area which seems to be around my left foot. In the cold weather months, it is somewhat desirable. lol Now that the warmer weather is coming, I'd like to remedy this Pronto! Any Ideas what might be causing this? ![]() Thanks! Best Regards, Tony

I had a similar problem (in a 993). Hot air coming through the center vents. The passenger footwell servo was stuck open. I manually free-d it up and whalla.... cold air again!...lol. Sometimes the fix is not so easy. Member ToreB helped me out by posting this link - it might help - good luck.

There is a "paper" tube in each footwell that brings air to the mixer (I believe). Those tubes get brittle and let the hot air escape. I had to replace one of mine. Climb under there and see if it is cracked open.

Yup, my 964 had a torn heat tube when I first got it and filled the pass. footwell w/ heat. The tube is pretty inexpensive but somewhat of a PITA to install since it's tight down there, the bend in the tube is awkward, and you end up working upside down for most of the job.
