I have a 1995 Carrera 2. it is currently wearing Pirelli P Zero tires with about 8k miles. The rear tires are almost fully worn on the outside two inches of the tread while the center and inside are still measuring at 5/32. this is consistent for both rear tires.
Is this a result of incorrect pressure, incorrect camber, what?? |

With proper or aggressive negative camber, I would expect the opposite to be true...ie, the insides would be worn. I'll bet a good alignment would dramatically improve tire wear and handling in the twisties.

My '97 was doing the same thing to an old set of tires it had when I bought the car. When I got new tires, I had it aligned by a reputable shop. The mechanic told me the camber was off dramatically, and he found this to be true of other 993s that had not had routine alignments performed. Get it checked out...might save you some $$ on new tires.
