964 clatters under hard acceleration
When I give it the "beans" it will clatter a bit. Could it be the catalytic converter? Valves are adjusted.

Lot of heat shields back there- are they all still firmly attached? Might be helpful to know the mileage as well...

finally got my car into the shop to get it checked out , # 3 rod let go forcing the piston into the head , So i have been told i need a full engine teardown, cause when that happens 9 times out of 10 i damaged the crank,
i cant believe the luck i have, oh well, was told by my mechanic that the build would run atleast 12000 and if i need a new crank and anything else it could reach in upwards of 18000, So Im thinking i will try and do this at home in my garage and use the help of all the great people on pelican to help me thru. |
