964 Left Chain Tensioner Disassembly: Question

Hi all-
In the midst of disassembly of a 964 top end rebuild.
Quick question, and I apologize if it sounds naive.
I am disassembling the left chain housing. After removing the cover and tensioner, next step is to remove the 4 bolts attaching the support bow that supports the lower chain guide.

Here's the issue - a standard socket will not fit into the bolts holes in the support bow. Has anyone seen this? The PET diagram looks like an allen head bolt.
Any suggestions? Thanks for helping.

I use a 1/4 inch drive Snap-On 10mm socket, but a Craftsman would work as well.

Buy a spare socket and grind down the OD on your bench grinder or with your angle grinder as much as needed for it to fit.

No such thing as a dumb question, right?
Feel like a complete idiot. All doubts removed.
Opened my 1/4" drive set and 10 mm fit like it was made for removing cam bracket.....
Onwards. I am confident there will be more dumb questions....
