993 Shift knob options
 

I've been doing some minor research, online, to see what I can do to change my shift knob on my 993 6 speed. I really like the RS knob and would go that route is I could find one. I realize the 996 knob looks pretty good too. I see that the boots are shaped different between the 996/993, square vs round at one end. I've read some knob just pull off and some are held on by a set screw. Any thoughts?? Bill V. are you out there????

As I recall they just pull off, once the leather boot is loosened
