Question 964 sill cover / shark fin repair (epoxy, glue etc.)

quick question for you guys :
would you glue / epoxy these "brackets" on the back of the shark fin before mounting them back to the fender ? it has been mentioned here before that you could epoxy the cracks and i was just wondering if that is the correct way to go and if there are other opinions or methods.

i ordered this part used
964 559 095 01 sill cover (driver side) - $119.60

and my biggest concern is the cracks in the "brackets" on the rear of the shark fin - the original parts were torn off so this was the only reason i replaced them in the first place. It took me about 30 mins to remove the two fasteneres that came with it since i was scared that i would end up tearing them all the way and then the entire mission would be futile.

thanks in advance for your replies.

Clean it well (I used denatured alcohol) and use 3M Super weatherstrip adhesive (Black) Worked great on mine..

Clean it well, roughen the to-be-glued surfaces, then clean it again.
