Could this be a legitimate 993 Turbo?

This 993 Turbo is priced much lower than the average.
Makes me want to be cautious and reach out to the knowledgeable folk on this forum for guidance -

Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe 2 Door | eBay

Thanks in advance for all your thoughts!

It looks like a conversion car since it is marketed as a custom wide body. I am assuming it will come with receipts to document the process and build.

Not a 993 Twin-Turbo manufactured by Porsche. A conversion, as advertised.

This was a naturally aspirated 993 converted to a turbo by Protosport, a franchise of Protomotive. They use the original Motronic DME and burn a new chip to manage the turbocharging. Could be a fun driver's car but likely not an "investment" for sure. A careful leak down test would be needed to help confirm it has held up under the increased horsepower.

Thank you all very much for the insight and help!

I am going to pass on this car and keep looking for a well sorted 993 or 964...
