964 rear light alignment
Hello guys,
I have a small problem with my 964, the rear RIGHT light is not sitting correctly in the housing which is the light frame in the fender. The light frame in the fender is slightly inclined compared to the left one which needs more effort to install the light because its a tight fit. Unfortunately it won't align or look 100% with the edges on the left side towards the centre reflector. What is the best method to solve this problem, the car is in proper order but this is the only thing not solved which is bugging me. The lower section of the light frame is up slightly and with small effort with your hand it could go back to its original position and once you install the lights it's the same dilemma they will fit but won't look as good as the ones on the left which are perfect. I would like to hear your advice regarding solutions the part that is not sitting correctly is the rear right light frame and the lower portion is higher slightly compared to the left and its what's causing the misalignment in the light. So what should I do to resolve it, I had a friend of mine look at it and he said its very minimal and if I didn't tell him he wouldn't of noticed the misalignment of lights. I am picky and can't stand it. It seems after some research a new porsche rear light frame can be purchased? What are my possibilities. I want to resolve the light alignment, I also heard that the centre reflector can be aligned correct to adjust this. Your suggestions I highly welcome, mechanical aspect of the car is done its just this issue and to change the sunroof seal.
