964 top end - looking for help

Hi,

Not sure if this is appropriate to ask on this forumn.....

I'm in the Los Angeles, CA area. I'm looking for anyone with experience in putting their engine on an engine stand. I have the motor out, fuel injection off, trans separated and need to get the engine on my engine stand and remove the exhaust.

I will gladly pay for anyone that can help.

Thanks,
dmark9

Well,

Since no one responded to your request for help . . . yet . . .

We used a Harbor Freight engine hydraulic lift . . cheap . . one person can do it
Then, I used it again to lift a crated engine into a Uhaul trailer to
take to the truck shipping dock -- got our money out of it already.

Do you have the correct Yoke ? Is it already bolted to the engine?

If so, it is quite simple:
Get a case
Put it on ice
Yell "Free Beer!"
Grab 4 guys and lift!

Thanks all.

Still working on it.. I had to modify the engine 'tool' that is used to lower the engine. Getting close.
