I'm looking at trading my 87 Cab on a 97 Cab.
The 97 has 25K miles and looks nice...... then so does my 87 look nice ![]() Does the 97 model yr have any "issues"? Is one 933 yr better than another? and why? thanks for any imput

All 993's are fundamentally the same. There are minor differences as summarized below:
'95: Does not have varioram induction unlike all later 993's, hence a little less power (but hardly anything to worry about). Coupe has the basket handle rear brake light, can be removed. Early '95 has possible engine wiring harness problem needing attention, '96-'97: No important differences. '98: All coupes of this year are wide body. These cars have very few issues. They are the final evolution of the air-cooled 911 and arguably the best 911 ever made. |
