missing options code sticker
I am looking at a 97 C2S with a missing options code sticker from the hood; overall the car looks good, drives well and has a clean carfax. The miles are reasonably low so the car has some value from a collectibe perspective. My question is how important or big a deal will the missing sticker be when I come to sell the car?
My previous cars were a 1970 911T and 1986 930 and neither had a sticker but when I sold the cars it wasn't an issue; so just wanted to see what others think about a 993. Cheers, Rob |
C2S Becoming loco collectable. Carfax not always right. If you are paying dearly for the car, I'm doing more research with ppi /paint meter/google vin/ and previous owner why no sticker. Low miles no sticker where there's smoke there's fire. IMHO

There was someone on Rennlist that was able to make a duplicate. It was done so well you couldn't tell from the original. Wish I could find him because I would like a copy as well. Not cheap, I think it was $200, but well worth it.

No need to worry about, Al - Stickers are recreated to original specs - i´m sure they will last another lifetime. ... yours entered the plane already and will arrive soon. Canada is on Board now too ... Best from Germany Norbert |
I am very happy with the product and service. Norbert was excellent to work with and followed my order through the mail and customs delay.
I found it easier to email through the website, provide all details, and make a request for a Paypal invoice. I then paid the invoice and the stickers were shipped within a few days. Tracking info was provided and we both watched it sit in customs for almost two weeks, but they did arrive just as described. Thank you Norbert! Best Regards, Al . |
Thanks Al! New order will be created on Monday :)
