964 Front Strut question(picture)

Here's a picture of the front right strut assembly on my 93 964. The strut is busted and leaking fluid and collasped.

Can the strut insert be replaced or do you have to replace the entire strut housing assembly as well?

Not sure if my car has Bilsteins or Boges. The other side left strut housing is black but I don't see any name stamped on the outer housing.

Is it pretty straight forward to dissassebly and replace or does anything else on the front brakes or front suspension(other than the coil assembly) have to be taken off first?

That looks like the stock Boge struts. It is fairly easy to replace with new parts, but I would strongly recommend an alignment after the job is done. Look in DIY and see if you can find a thread on how to attack this job.
Here is a LINK to a DIY on suspension replacement.

I have a full set of used Bilsteins under the 911 classifieds section if you're interested. Mark
