964 RS guidance

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and need some guidance. I have just posted on the 911 technical forum but have been told to post here as well. i have recently been very lucky to buy a low mileage 964RS. i have just driven it 550 miles taking it home as i knew this would be a great way to get to know the car. The car had a service and an inspection prior to collection and nothing untoward was found. being a 21 year old car with low mileage (49000Km - 30000miles) it has not been used regularly over it's life so the long drive may have been a bit of a shock.

The car is great to drive, the engine is strong but i have two small niggles with it that i picked up on the journey. the first occurred after about an hour of driving when we hit some traffic and there was a bit of clutch work and warmer temperatures.

1. when cruising and giving very light throttle/load on the engine at around 3000rpm there there is a slight squeaking noise as you go on and off the throttle. I initially thought this may have been worn bearings on the alternator but after taking it out the next day when it was cold for a very short drive along the road with the fan belt removed i replicated the same noise. by the way the noise is almost imperceptible but after a 10 hour drive with no radio/limited sound deadening (lightweight RS) you pick these things up.

2. after an enthusiastic drive the next day i found that when in neutral in the driveway after being revved and dropping back to idle there is a noise that sounds if something is dragging/feeling dry with the engine/clutch.

My initial thoughts are around the following components. Clutch/release bearing, dual distributor/belt/bearing.

Any previous threads, links or guidance would be much appreciated!!

Can't offer any ideas on (1) sorry. Still scratching my head at what would squeak.

For (2) though, if such occurs in the driveway in neutral, is it not possible to pop the lid blip the throttle from there to see if you can narrow down the location of the noise?

As far as dual distributor belt (presuming it's the same arrangement as a regular C2), there is the "John Walker dual distributor belt test".

distributor belt check done right (also presented is WHILE THE ENGINE IS OFF, AS IN OFF DO NOT RUN THIS WAY!!!) pull the lower cap and if the head spins freely, belt is brokey.

on my 96 993, i get a similar faint squeek when I let off the accelerator.
I think it it accelerator pedal or "linkage" related
