Just replaced mine on my 95. Getting the fan off was the hardest part of the job. Good time for new belts and fan/shroud powder coating. I went with Bosch

So you pulled the whole fan and housing out?

Yes. Mine is a 95 non v. Intake unlike yours. But I think it's similar removal. Once bolts to strap and duct removed it lifted out enough to unbolt the wires. Btw. Take your fan belt sensor off or you will probably break it.

Thanks so you pull housing also? I was looking at the sensor and it looked like it would be in the way. What about a RS pulley

Yes. You'll be surprised how easy it lifts out. Housing and all. After you put your new one in its easier to put the belt detector on with a little elect tape wrapped around the spring loaded wheel. Then take it off after you tighten the Allen head screw. RS pulley ? Have one now or going to it ? Good time to Change over. I didn't. P-car has a good tutorial on this job if needed.

Got it, Thanks. Now come the pain in the ass of trying to get the fan off I think I'm just going to use a three bolt puller and pull the fan and hub at one time, the articale on pcar showed the guy taking the fan off then pulling the hub but he was installing a RS pulley setup.

Don't break any fan blades. Those are $. I had to soak mine with PB blaster and slowly tighten the puller. Hopefully your fan bearings aren't wore out. I had to replace mine. Good luck. John
