Wet carpet?
Drive through heavy rain last night - several hours of driving, this morning I noticed that the driver side rear footwell is wet (very) & only in this foot well.
There is no sign of where it is coming from. Any body has any suggestion (sunroof leaking? door seal? rear window seal?), how do I test? HELP? |

There are four drains designed to carry water away from the sunroof...One for each of the A and B pillars....Open your sunroof and run a wire down through each drain so that you clear any obstructions...It is also possible that water is getting into the cabin around the rear side window seal, which may require resealing.

Given the area under the floorboard I would lean more toward the door gasket. I would think sunroof would be more under the floor board. A clogged front cowl vent filled the right side foot well w/enough water to short out the alarm box.
