Battery Recommendations...

Looking for battery recommendations for my 993. Drive it on the weekends mostly. Curious what people are using.

Caution when using a pc925. The cold cranking amps and amp-hour ratings are substantially lower than the factory battery. A trickle charger is highly recommended, not to mention the additional mounting hardware.

The correct batteries at your local sears/autozone are all essentially the same. Pick the one with the best price and warranty.

What about those Optima batteries? I'm not sure but I heard those were long lasting and stout? I would have purchased one, but at the time they were too expensive for my budget, so I got a bosch.

Best search on Optima; more recent reports are not as good as one would like.

I have an optima yellow top with no problems. In fact, it fixed my stalling.

I have an Interstate MTP-91 in mine. When I drive weekly it does not need a trickle charger. Make sure to connect your battery vent tube.
