Adjusting rear bilstiens to mo30 springs

I received my bilsteins and they came adjusted all the way to the top. my question is. Where is a good starting point as far as adjustment to mo30 springs on a 993 ? !" thread showing ? 1/2" ? I dont have a adjusting wrench so I would like to get them close to the correct height before putting on my springs and putting them in the car. the car is my daily driver. No track. Thanks in advance for your input.

I assume your springs are ROW MO30 and not US MO30. The US versions will not lower the car from normal US ride height.

My car has Bilsteins and MO33 springs. These springs give the same ride height as ROW MO30 but a more comfort oriented ride. My rear perches are near maximum height and with the MO33 springs my ride height is at ROW sport height. For me this is a good compromise which looks right and gives reasonable clearance. It's the ride height that the suspension was designed to work at. If you go much lower you will encounter bump steer issues.

Here's a rear shock with spring and my car after installation.

thanks for your input. Looks like you installed your bilstiens with adjusting nut all the way to the top. you're car looks great ! Cant wait to get mine that low. I guess I should have bought mo33 springs. Too late though mo30 allready purchased. Hopefully the ride wont be too brutal

Make sure your springs are ROW and not US or you will not lower your car at all. Good luck.
