1991 911 TURBO for $50,000?

New to the 964 market, proud owner of a 1979 930 for 20+ years.
Longtime Porsche owner of 17 different 911`s. The Turbo market is currently all over the
place. What do you guys think about a me buying a $50,000 Black 39,477 mile 1991 911 Turbo, accident free and service records since new but was stolen and recovered resulting in a salvage title being reissued? The title changed status to salvage because the car was recovered by the insurance company after full compensation had been paid to prior owner.
I know the car has a black eye, especially in the Porsche community. In my mind, if a PPI from a qualified Porsche expert demonstrated an accident free and healthy car then this "salvage" car should not carry full the stigma of an major accident or flood "salvage" car. Am right about that? Is $50k too much? I am 24 hours from walking or taking the leap, I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks guys.

If it's to flip then maybe not, but if it's to drive I think that's a great deal.

No damage on recovery?

If you plan on keeping it as long as you've kept your 930 , then the title is not a problem .
Work on a "bad" title being worth 30% less at resale and your "buyers circle" being reduced by 75% and you'll get an idea of if its worth it ....

Any reduction in future value is also reflected in current value. In other words a deal today will be a deal tomorrow.
If buying to own and enjoy do just that.
If buying to flip and make a big profit, not likely.
Only you know what works for you.

I'd say it is priced about $5k too high. Current values of 3.3's are all over the map and although some have sold for 6 figures there are a number still selling in the $60's with no history. Condition and desire to keep are key factors.
