My turn signals don't cancel
 

I have a 97 Carrera and my turn signals won't cancel. Is there a cancel ring or is it canceled in the turn signal/wiper unit? Also, when I remove my air bag can I keep power to my computer along with disconnecting the battery so it does not lose memory? Any help is appreciated.

I would not remove an airbag with power to the car. In fact, you want to unhook battery, and wait a while. Seems it is about 30 minutes, but, I'd wait overnight.
