Torque spec 964 TIP Torque converter to drive plate?

Hi folks-
'92 964 tip. Reassembling engine to tip transmission.
Any one know the spec of the (8) 6MM allen bolts that secures the torque converter to the drive plate on the engine? Not in the WSM (or I have not been able to find it!). These are the bolts that are put in through the starter hole.

Thanks!
Obbie

HI Obbie,

did you find an answer? I will be there in a few weeks, couldn't find it is Streathers or the Bentley books.

Maybe LouZ will respond he has walked this path :)

I didn't find any torque spec either. When I reinstalled the TC, I initially threaded each one so they just held the TC on. Then I brought each one up snug. Then when back and snugged them a bit more. Finally, I tightened them to what "felt" tight, keeping in mind that they are small screws and I didn't want to snap any.

Try posting on the Rennlist site, maybe someone there will know the correct procedure and torque setting.
