Knock Control Sticker Wanted

On my '97 993 Targa most of the stickers on engine lid, & on engine are in very good condition except the "Knock Control" sticker which is light green type on silver. Ordered all new stickers from my local dealer & all are exact as O.E. EXCEPT the Knock Control sticker which is in the worst shape. Old design has been superseded & new part is white on black & it appears that if you want it the same size, you have to cut it out. I tried rolling the sticker to see if there were edges around the same size portion. Couldn't see or feel any.

I called Porsche Classic in Germany & the guy I knew there is gone. Person I got said, "You have to go through your local US dealer." I told her I did & the part is wrong. Her response was, "You have to go through your local US dealer." Why did I feel I was dealing with a Detroit manufacturer?

Bottom line is I'm looking for an original green on silver sticker. Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have the old part number? I wasn't able to locate it in the PET.

I don't. The new number is on the black sticker. Illustration in Parts Manual isn't clear nor is the list. There are 5 stickers on that lip. Parts book only shows 3.

I have a friend at PCNA who is looking into this. Clearly this is not satisfactory.

Anyone know how PCA Concours judges would treat the wrong sticker?
