What spare tire to clear 993TT front brakes?
I have a 964 C2 and have upgraded the front brakes to 993TT Big Reds. My 16" spare tire in the trunk will not clear the big reds. What spare tire are you guys using?? I have a line to a spare. Its still 16" with a 965 turbo designated part number from a 1998 993 C4S. Any ideas if this will fit??

If it's from a C-4-s, it should fit yours as they use big reds. I think in that era, the 965 16" -the one with round holes- was the biggest they made so youu should be ok. |

Bob, you were absolutely right
. 16" part number spare tire 965 352 919 10 cleared the 993TT calipers perfectly. This was from a 1998 993 C4S. I also believe the 964 Turbo's and RSA have the same wheel. Uncertain about other models. Dan |
