Help w value of 964 Cab?
 

Hello, I've been out of the Porsche fold for over 10 years now regretfully selling my '84 Carrera as the kids starting popping out. I love the air cooled cars, but the prices are going through the roof. I've come across a '92 Cabriolet 5sp with about 100k miles on it with a sketchy past.

The current owner has only had it for about a year and doesn't know much about it. It has aftermarket door panels so door locks don't work. It has aftermarket seats with faux leather and cloth middle. Says mechanically it's perfect, other than it drips oil and the heater runs non stop :rolleyes:

Doesn't know if it's had any accidents or repaint. Recently put a lot of money into getting the top functional. Asking $17,500. Sounds like more of a project than I can take on right now, but just checking in to see what you guys think of this price?

Car was bought sight unseen by a broker/dealer out of CA today. Guess $17,500 was a great price! Oh well, you snooze, you lose.
