993 RS/964 Speedster Seat Replicas?
Has anyone ever tried to replicate the 993 RS or 964 Speedster sport seats using Recaro Pole Positions? I know you can't make them identical, but it seems the seat cushion, stitch patterns, and overall appearance could be replicated. I would be interested if someone knows a company that has done this.

Indeed. I understand Southbound Trimmers in the UK has much experience with this. I believe you can order the covers and have them installed locally or DIY. I've been searching for someone in North America with the same experience to do mine as an alternative. Please let me know how it goes or if you find someone in the Pacific Northwest.

Replicating the leather and stitching is the easy part, any competent upholstery shop will be able to handle that part. Having the shell look right is much harder, and PPs do not have the correct "bracing" or "ribs" that the OEM Speedster and RS seats have. You'd have to get a Hahn but he won't ship to the US (I tried already). Corbeau came out with a replica in Europe (Club Sport) but it's not available in the US yet.
