964 Speedster seats

Hi, would anyone know if the 1994 964 Speedster ALL CAME with the One piece Recaro (color coded) seat? Or was this an option? I see some 964 Speedster for sale with just the normal 911 seats.
Again, my question is - Is the Recaro seat a standard for the speedster or was it an option?

Thanks in advance.

optional on all years.... the one piece buckets were a very expensive option, they are also expensive to buy second hand.

Most of the Speedster seats are the two colors pad (black & grey IIRC) hardshell back (basically GT3) seats. I am not sure if the paint to match color on the shell was standard or an option. Somebody had a pair for sale at ~$4000. I recently acquired a set of GT3 seats with 986/996 rails in Savanah Biege for $1500 delivered. So the hard shell seats are out there and not that unreasonable. The ones I picked up were in fairly good shape. The worst part is that the embossed Porsche emblem on the drivers headrest area is worn. I can live with that.

All 94 US Speedsters came with the hardshell Recaro's and the were color coded to the trim. After several widebody customers complained about the seats being too narrow, Porsche relented and offered to change the seats for standard ones.
So while several customers cars came equipped with standard buckets, the car originally left the factory with Recaro hardshell seats that had been changed at the dealer.

Also the seats came color matched and the the wheels did to but it was a no cost option to get straight black hard back seats and silver wheels. My Speedie had all black interior and silver wheels
