Some time ago someone here recommended using autoecu.com, or Automotive Scientific, Inc. to repair my car's climate control unit. The repairs cost ~$400 but come with a "lifetime warranty".
If anyone else considers using that company, beware their fine print which basically says that if they can't repair a unit they don't have to honor the lifetime warranty. ![]() |

Thanks for the heads up.
I had a very good experience with Systems Consulting in California, I sent my 993 CCU there.

OP I am confused. If they can't repair the unit to begin with, what would they be warranting?

I think that he's saying that if they repair it and it fails, the company's "lifetime" warranty is in actuality a "limited lifetime" warranty. The limit being whether the company can repair the unit a second time.
