Hours to Install RS Carpet?

Once the sound deadening, glue and parts are removed, how long does it take to install a RS carpet kit?

I'm getting "experienced" trimmers quoting 12, and some up to 20 hours.

For the novice it could be an undertaking but for a pro it looks like it should be more like 4-6 hours once the prep work has been done.

Am I wrong? How long did it take you and how hard is it to get a good fit? I bought a Lakewell set but I'm iffy on my trimming skills.
