Victory service work?

I'm considering a car that had a major service done at Victory, would you trust it?

I think the quality of the answers you get would be improved if you included where the Victory of interest is operating...

Post this question on Rennlist. Please be clear and accurate. I believe if it's Victory motor cars in TX, most would say to avoid them.

From what I know. Victory farms out their mechanical work. He used to use Eurocar Werks which was located around the corner from his building. That was at least 10 years ago though.

If you can, try to see the car in person. I've been looking for a 964/993 and have seen a few over the past months. I went to a "Victory" type seller here on the East Coast. They were in the process of moving and photographing various 964/993's. I couldn't believe the awful conditions of the cars and how well they photographed. After that day I promised myself that I would never take a chance on buying over the internet unless I see it first along with its history. Good luck.

I'd verify the work was done. Assuming you'll be doing a PPI on the car.

The PO of my 993 purchased the car from Victory, who agreed to perform the 60k service as part of the sale. He had it checked, once the vehicle was delivered and they had apparently done what they said they were going to do.

I'm glad I saw this thread. I'm new to the Porsche world and hoping to own a 964 in the future. I will have to proceed with caution if I decide to purchase from them.
