Feeler: '91 Rolling Chassis (widebody) for sale

I might take a 91 911 in partial trade for my 965, to pull the engine, trans, and computers/wiring for my '74 911 race car.

This leaves this complete car, widebody'd by a dealership back in the day, nicely, with steel fenders, aftermarket front/rear bumper covers (of good quality with excellent paint), and aftermarket 993 Turbo S tail. Car would have every single item it drove to my house with still in/on it. I'd just pull the engine, computers, and trans for my race car.

Dark blue (original color) exterior with classic tan/black two-tone interior in decent shape.

Think it's worth as much as 13-14k? Curious to see what others thought.

No, a narrow body car that was widebody-converted at a dealership I was told. Good job, no stress cracks, exceptional paint, factory steel front fenders, rear steel quarters added.

Interested. Do you have any paperwork on the conversion? Anything else converted like suspension, brakes, etc?

Would also like to see pics of the interior. Thanks!

I'll get pictures for you. Paperwork might be had, like I said it was done at a dealership from what I understand. I have not yet "done the deal" for this car, just feeling out ahead of time as my wife is NOT as interested as I am in such an endeavor.

Shoot me your email, I'll get you some pictures. Porschesolutions@gmail.com

Are the trailing arms widebody turbo? What suspension is on it? What brakes?

Ok, my wife's not buying this idea: but the entire car is for sale for $19k located in San Antonio. Anyone interested? If so ping me, I'll put you in touch with the owner.

Thanks, Mark

If you think maintenance costs on a Porsche are expensive, you probably don't want to hear about the maintenance cost on a girl who looks good in a bikini and fancies hanging out on yachts.

I've got one of those narrow bodies -- she's lighter on my wallet than my P-cars :-)

Now if I acquired a second narrow body -- I'd be devoid of narrow bodies and P-cars.

I plan to take possession of this car within two weeks. Car now has 18" new Panamera wheels & fresh rubber on it.

NOt sure on whether I'll drive the the car until my RSR is done, or pull the drive train out and sell the rolling chassis now....just not sure. My wife wants to do the drivetrain first so we can take the chassis $ & put that down on a GT3 or such Go figure...

Highest reasonable price gets the car. PM me if interested.
