Powder Coating Caliper Help
I had a set of calipers powder coated last year and I am trying to match the set with a second set. The original powder coater went out of business, so I'm looking for another who can duplicate his work. I have the color code and I am looking for someone to follow this process: 1) glass bead the caliper, 2) powder coat yellow, 3) add PORSCHE stencil in black (bake again), 4) powder coat a clear top coat.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gene

Hi, just my 2p, but I'm pretty sure that colour matching with powder coating will be nowhere near as hit-and-miss as using paint; from my experiences with getting stuff coated for my project, the shop I use are consistent with their use of the same brand powder - they literally just load their guns straight from the packet, no tinting or blending of colours. So, my thoughts are that if you find A N Other shop that does powder coating, chances are they may use the same supplier, if not, then they may be able to advise which vendor of powder your calliper has been coated with.....plus, they're not sitting side by side anyway, so a fraction of shade difference may not be discernible?
ETA - that calliper looks gorgeous - another item on my never-ending list of to-do's
