Recessed number plate - rear
After recessing my front number plate, I figured I might as well do the back one too.
Whilst it is certainly NOT for everyone, for those that are interested, this is how I did it. Before: ![]() First thing was to test fit the number plate frame and then draw around where it was going to go: ![]() ![]() Then out with the trusty dremel and cut out the hole: ![]() ![]() ![]() Put a rubber strip across the aluminum so the plate would be at the correct angle. Made some holes under the bottom of the bumper for any water to come out of. ![]() ![]() Masked up, then sprayed some wurth satin black in the hole: ![]() Then touch up the edges with some guards red, fit the number plate to the aluminum ![]() back bar (sticking bits of plastic behind the unused holes and then painting them from the front), fit the number plate frame - and we're done. |

Mmmmh - I'd NEVER ever cut anything in my 993 - specially not a hole ^^
But if you like it ... I would suggest to align the exhaust tips
