Wiring rear window while installed?

Hi,

Is it possible to access the spade connectors of a rear 964 window seal while the glass is installed? I need to attach a wire there for a ground point of a raised brake light. I feel a wire can be slotted easily into the channel but I'm just hesitant to pull the seal too much.
