Misfiring ….. Insight appreciated PLS :)

Hello;

Question : A porsche 964 1990 - Recently due to milage had maintenance at a fairly reputable place. The distributor Cap/rotors/plugs/ and coils were changed- of course everything runs better " but " now the car is extremely sensitive to rain ( I am not imagining this, i promise ) as soon as it rains the car misfires here and there ( an increase of least 50%) . I used to drive in rain all the time with no signs or issues - now its different. What may have led to this or is it just old plug wires …… Your insight is so very appreciated. Thank you in advanced……..

Probably wires, put some water in spray bottle and mist it over the wires while car is running (at night) when you see sparks/arcs you know you need wires..

In addition to the above, make certain-sure that all of your plug and coil wires are fully seated in the distributor caps and coils and that none of the caps on the wires were split when they were removed/replaced during service.
