Motronic (crank position sensor)
A little history:
I recently purchased a 91 c2 with ~800 miles on a fresh rebuilt motor. I did the 1000 mile valve adjustment and oil change and all was well. At 1200 miles when warming up I found a significant drip (about one drop per second). Much to my dismay, the shop that did the rebuild "retired" and no warranty.... So to make a long story short, the new shop has diagnosed the problem as a pinched o-ring on the cylinder / case. The engine out to address the oil leak and I just cant help but think this might be a good time to swap out the DMFW ![]() ![]() Any help / comments are much appreciated! My semi-new DMFW assembly (minus the pressure plate) will be available soon if anyone is interested. |
