1990 964 shifter tube sleeve installation question
Pelicans,
I have a 1990 964 and I am installing the shifter tube sleeves, one at each end of the tube. Part number is 964-424-224-01. Each sleeve is concave on one end, can anyone help with the correct installation of the concave side of the sleeve ? The Pelican Parts diagram reference the 91 and up redesigned sleeve. Thank you! |

Thank you
Oleg,
Thank you for the great reply, Just what I needed. What suggestions would you have for grease type for the shifter tube ? I was going to you white lithium for the ball cup bushing. gscock |

Use something like disc brake grease for the guide tube, and white grease for the bushings. Don't lube the nylon cups, they just pop back on on their own.
