964 A/C fan motor & oil cooler fan motor

Hi folks,

I am seeking detailed knowledge of the A/C fan motor,
part 96462403501 (on the front left) and the oil cooler fan
motor, part 96462403500 (on the front right) in a 1991 964.

Both appear to be similar other than price and part number,
same 12v connection, same physical size, same mounting
connections.

Your experience, insight, and advice will be appreciated.

I found them virtually the same. Actually I'm running a AC fan installed on the oil cooler right now. When it goes UrO is making them at a good price now.

I can't confirm, but the electric fans look very much like the ones that the 924/944 series use on their radiators too. Lots of those hanging around for cheap in the used market.
