1996 993 w/tiptronic 75k miles running rich and backfiring

My wife's 993 was running just fine last week (Oct. 24, 25). On Oct. 31, 2015 I put in some techron fuel injector cleaner (about 1/2 bottle) into the gas tank which was 1/4 full of fuel. She had then later went and filled up the tank with Sunoco Ultra 93 about 3 miles away. The car ran fine during Sat. Oct. 31. Unfortunately on Sunday afternoon she called me to tell me that the car started suddenly to make an awful popping noise and the check engine light came on. I had the car towed home and observed the tail pipe looked sooty and the car was backfiring quite violently . Unfortunately before I had a chance to hook up a factory tester I had accidentally disconnected the battery to install a battery tender and cleared the fault codes that had been stored when the engine started backfiring. Upon restarting the car and after only running it for 2 min, the only fault codes that came up are 3 within the ventilation system (cold air flap error or implausible reading, fresh air blower motor seized) and 1 fault code with the tiptronic module. I intend to remove the sparkplugs for inspection (they're probably fouled from running the concentrated Techron through). My question is what else could be the cause and what damage has been done?

Problem fixed

When I dismantled the passenger side exhaust to remove the engine side-tray exposing the sparkplug leads# 4, 5, and 6 I noticed that the spark plug in #4 cylinder had loosen to the point of coming out with the plug wire boot when I pulled the boot off. That explains the popping noise from the engine since the mixture was burningwith the gases escaping through the plug hole. That explains the rich smell around the rear of car. Anyway the other plugs looked normal with 10k miles since I last changed them in 2013. After putting in new upper sparkplugs for # 4-6 and started the engine everything ran smoothly and went for a test drive with no issues. So didn't need to test the injectors.
