964 aircon suddenly stopped working

Hi,
18 months ago, I had my aircon compressor, condensor, evaporator, hoses, receiver dryer and expansion valve replaced. Aircon has been icey cold then the other day drove to work, aircon was icey cold, started up to drive home and it was blowing hot.

I have checked fuse and relay, and clutch is engaging fine.

Any ideas?

interesting... must be more than a "slow" leak.. if you drove to work and it was icey cold, but was blowing hot when you went home, I'd say it's a fast leak!
Where in Brisbane are you?
I've got a 964 in Brisbane too.... I got my air gassed and it was cold for ages.. then it just started feeling a little anaemic... might need some sorting soon.

The compressor has a switch on it so that when the coolant leaks down to a certain point, the compressor stops engaging, thus preventing damage due to low/no coolant (Which also contains a lubricant for the compressor). That's why you can have adequate cooling, then suddenly have none, yet not have an obvious or catastrophic leak.
