964 New Plug Leads - 2 Options - Which is the one to buy?
Looking to buy a new set of spark plug leads for my 1990 964.
Looking on our host site, there are 2 options.. Can anyone tell me the correct one for my car and also.. what is the difference between them? You get what you pay for. Most are using the more expensive set. They have a 2 year warranty. The cheaper wires have a one year warranty. Looking at your original post... Check your distributor cap electrodes are all intact from the inside.

Really? so even though they are both Beru brand, one just has a longer warranty? How did you find that out? My brief search was not fruitful...

I'd do a google search on, "Beru plug wires for 1990 Porsche 964", and see what you come up with. As you know, Beru is OEM provider to Porsche, for the plug wires.

About seventy bucks, seriously Though there are Beru wire sets that do not have the screw on/off fittings. I would guess that the cheaper of the two is that type

I replaced mine with 10-8533-607-M47 (the more expensive set).
As I recall at the time (2012) this was my only option. These are the factory wires, a perfect fit, with all the brackets, and the wires are numbered. These will last another 25 years! I cant speak for the cheaper set.

Like I said, do a google search and save $100 on the oem Beru set with porsche 993 p/n.
