964 aero mirrors to 964
Hi Guys,
I came across a tired 968 with power aero mirrors. My 964 currently has power flag mirrors (both sides). Is this a direct swap or is there more to it? TIA, HB

Better ask around. I think the angles are different.

Bases or pedestals are different, bodies are the same and interchangeable...Bert

Thanks for the quick answers gents. Unfortunately, the mirrors were sold out from under me. However, I have found a set of 993 mirrors. The plugs are still intact, but they seem to be so far up into the housing that it would be tough to splice the wires after cutting the plugs.
I'm curious if I could replace the motors within the aero mirrors with the motors from an old set of flag mirrors? If so, has any done this before? Can anyone provide a guide to the process? TIA, HB
